Happy October,
A new month always brings some exciting updates within the points & miles world! New transfer bonuses, new award deals (Air France/KLM), and more coupons to use 🙄. I’m hoping that one of these new coupons or transfer bonuses can help you save on future travels!
Before going through this week’s highlights, if you haven’t somehow already signed up for the Rakuten shopping portal (for free), I would appreciate if you signed up using my referral link, where we both get $50 in cash back (or 5k AMEX points). Details about how Rakuten works and how it can boost your Amex MR earning can be found here (my blog). Thank you!
This week's highlights
Always check and add your Amex and Chase offers!
American Express and Chase have offers (read that as more coupons…) from different retailers, brands, hotels, and airlines attached to individual cards. These offers need to be manually added, so it’s always worthwhile to consistently check and add these offers to get more savings. It’s helped me save over $1,000 from adding them.

Nearly $1,100 saved on my Amex Platinum

$495 saved on Marriott Business card
With Amex, they will also only show up to 100 offers at a time, so you will need to consistently keep adding them to view offers that may be hidden.
You can use a program like CardPointers, that has a free and paid version to help you add and track different offers across credit cards.
I’m definitely starting to feel more fatigued managing all the coupons and of course the more premium the card, it seems there are even more coupons to keep track of now. Anyways, I saw a lot of neat offers on Amex and Chase to highlight so be sure to check them out. Some of them are targeted so you may not have them.
Offers to highlight this month:
AMEX: Get statement credit after meeting minimum spend at higher-end Marriott properties such as The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, W Hotels, or Luxury Collection hotels. Must be a property located in US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Offers are targeted and spending and cash back amounts differ by person (expires 12/31/25)
AMEX: Spend $300+ get $30 back on Viator (expires 10/31/25)
AMEX: Spend $200+ get $40 back at US/Canada Wyndham Midscale locations and spend $100+ get $20 back at US/Canada Wyndham Value locations (expires 12/31/25)
AMEX: Spend $250+ get $50 back at select US/Canada Best Western & SureStay hotels (expires 12/31/25)
AMEX: Various smaller hotel groups have offers as well including Loews, Melia Hotels, Lotte New York, Mandarin Oriental, WorldHotels, AKA, Fairmount, Raffles, and Fontainebleau. Always be checking for offers!
Chase [Targeted]: $100 off Chase Travel with $600+ booking. Check out details on Upgraded Points.

New Marriott Amex offers
New transfer bonuses this month
Amex and Chase just launched some new transfer bonuses that you’ll hopefully find useful. However, I would not transfer points from a credit card (flexible currency) to an airline or hotel (less flexible currency) unless you knew you were ready to use them.
AMEX: 20% bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue (good deal)
AMEX: 30% bonus to Marriott (bad deal)
Chase: 30% bonus to Aer Lingus, British Airways, and Iberia (good deal)
Chase: 80% bonus to IHG (bad deal)
Some deals to look for with these bonuses:
1) Air France/KLM business class between US and Europe for 50k AMEX points (usually 60k). If flying between IAD/Europe, book for as low as 38k points (45k promo rate). Book directly through Air France/KLM’s program.
2) Qatar business class between US/Doha for 54k Chase points (usually 70k). Fairly good availability in August-September 2026 at the moment. Book directly with Qatar or British Airways.
3) Japan Airlines business class between US and Tokyo for 73k points (usually 94k+). Chance for 2-4 seat availability if you book 350-360 days in advance with British Airways or Finnair.

Delta offering $100 eCredit for booking economy flight to Europe
Enrollment required (Delta site) 🙄but book a Delta Main Economy flight between now and November 30 for travel between January 1 - April 30, 2026 and you’ll earn a $100 eCredit usable on your next Delta flight. The terms don’t specificy Main Basic (basic economy) or Main Classic (regular economy) so I presume you can book a basic economy flight. Terms also don’t specify if you can fly a connecting flight on a partner airline (such as AF/KLM) and that you just need to 1) enroll, 2) book in the specified time frame, and 3) book “a qualifying Delta or Delta Connection carrier-marketed and -operated flight in Delta Main”. The $100 eCredit is good for 6 months after date of issuance and should be added within 30 days of completing the eligible flight.
If you’re interested, you could potentially fly basic economy to Europe next Spring for $282 round-trip per person. I’m sure there are other deals too, check out Google Flights and filter to SkyTeam to try to find dates and destinations that work for you.

Hilton’s 4Q promo is lame, but spend 30 seconds to sign up
Hilton’s 4Q promo is finally out. Those who sign up are graced with 1,500 extra bonus points per stay, not even per night! Sign up here and after 10 stays you’ll have enough to pay for 1.5 hours at the Waldorf Astoria Maldives.
Also Hilton has been busy devaluing their program with the third devaluation in less than a year (Frequent Miler). Some popular properties require 30% more points now and a whopping 250k a night (View from the Wing). So I guess every point counts now…
Deal of the week
Book Air France or KLM business class for as low as 45k points one way from Europe to IAD. With the 20% AMEX transfer bonus to AF/KLM, you’ll only need 38k points. Most availability is now from Europe back to the US with only a handful of dates available to Europe.
November 2025 to March 2026 still has decent availability from Europe to IAD!

You can potentially boost your Avios by 500% (instead of usually 300%). This is essentially buying Avios at ~1.2 cents per point, up to 300k Avios per calendar year, before being charged a much higher rate. (BA High Life Magazine). You can only “boost” recent transactions but points transfers into British Airways have historically counted as a recent transaction. Some more details here (Award Wallet), and here (my Instagram)

About Find Flights for Me.
I started the idea of Find Flights for Me back in 2023 to help educate and inspire people to use their credit card points more effectively, with a focus on using points to fly business and first class flights. At the time, there was a lot less transparency around using points and the focus was centered around telling you how to earn points. So, I thought I could share content that is easy-to-understand and actionable on social media - and now with a newsletter.
When I’m not working on Wall Street or searching for flight deals, you can find me planning for my upcoming wedding, enjoying local restaurants, helping my parents book their next trip, traveling internationally, or visiting friends/family in NYC, Philadelphia, or DC.
