Delta earlier this year announced its first-ever flight service to Marrakech, Morocco
Starting October 25, Delta will fly Atlanta (ATL) to/from Marrakech (RAK) 3x weekly. Delta is using 767-400ERs to service the route with 34 business class seats, 20 premium economy, and 184 regular economy seats. How to search and book with Delta?
1) On Delta’s site, put in dates and destinations, choose the “My dates are flexible” option, choose Shop with Miles, and number of passengers.
2) Click on Advance Search and choose your desired cabin (Delta One is business, Premium Select is premium economy, and Delta Main is economy). Then hit search.
3) After searching, click on Price Calendar or Flexible Dates option to find dates that work best for you. Some dates are direct flights between ATL/RAK but other flights may include a flight on Air France through Paris before connecting back to the US.
Cost breakdown (book through Delta)
Delta One: 200k + ~$84-$200 in tax/fees round-trip
Premium Select: 140k + $51-$140 in tax/fees round-trip
Main Cabin: 50k + $51-$168 in tax/fees round-trip
Booking through Delta has no change or cancellation fees. Additionally, those with select Delta co-branded credit cards get a 15% points discount from the above points costs.
