Using award search tools can really help save a lot of time. I personally use Seats.Aero (affiliate link), an award search tool that helps you view thousands of available award flights all in one place. Sign up today to save time and get a head start on finding great award deals. The best way to quickly use Seats.Aero for this deal is through Explore → Alaska Atmos Rewards. You can view award availability over the next 60 days for free, but need to pay to get full calendar access + a lot more bells and whistles (award alerts, community access, etc.)

Transfer Partners: Bilt

How to search and book?

Quickly find availability using Alaska’s calendar view, then book directly with Aer Lingus or Alaska.

1) On Alaska’s site, enter your destination, choose a date (we will move to calendar view later so not that important), but choose “Flexible dates”, and “Use points”. Then search.

2) Calendar view should pop up. But we will want to change fare type to “Partner business”.

3) Confirm the date has the number of available seats, then book with your preferred program.

To book with Aer Lingus

1) You will need to log in to your account or create one if you haven’t already.

2) You can click here to visit the Aer Lingus Avios reward site, or you can get there from the Aer Lingus site. On the homepage, hover over “AerClub” and choose “Book a Reward Flight”. Then you will have to click an option that says “Buy a Reward Flight” that will redirect you to another Aer Lingus site that lets you use Avios.

3) Put in dates and destination, and I personally like to search for one-way flights. Then hit search.

4) Find the dates that work for you and book. Don’t forget, Aer Lingus uses Avios which can be freely transferred across other Avios programs such as British Airways, Qatar Airways, Iberia, or Finnair. Although all these programs use Avios, they all charge a different amount with Aer Lingus having the best pricing.

Aer Lingus business class experience

Flights will either be on an A321 (narrowbody) or an A330 (widebody). Some seats are certainly better than others and depend on your travel situation.

About Find Flights for Me.

I started the idea of Find Flights for Me back in 2023 to help educate and inspire people to use their credit card points more effectively, with a focus on using points to fly business and first class flights.

When I’m not working on Wall Street or searching for flight deals, you can find me planning for my upcoming wedding, enjoying local restaurants, helping my parents book their next trip, traveling internationally, or visiting friends/family in NYC, Philadelphia, or DC.
